San Diego Wild Park

The San Diego Wild Park is AMAZING. I loved every second of it. It was very helpful in the healing process of 4th of July's events. If you are in San Diego, I HIGHLY recommend going here (instead of the actual zoo). The animals were more free to roam and it felt like more of their natural inhabitant, then a normal zoo. The kids really enjoyed seeing and learning about the animals. Molly LOVES birds and was so happy when we got to feed some. (yes I look like a FREAK and yes Molly & I are wearing matching denim rompers) Ryan got a monster face and couldn't stop looking at himself all day and into the evening. He was sad to have it washed off that night, but had many hours to enjoy it--by looking in anything that was reflective! We (as in a lot of Jimmy's family) stayed in a hotel that night so we could head to a pier and then Sea World the next day. We got some late dinner, had some showers (did I mention it was HOT there? Yeah, like in the 100s) and watched some tv and hung out with family. It was a perfect day. The kids were amazingly well behaved (sure ice cream helped) and the day was just flat out lovely.

Sea World tomorrow--hopefully I will wrap up the CA vacation soon...a lot goes on in 2 weeks!
